3D scanning
3D model is a visual mapping of a volumetric object in three-dimensional space. It represents its virtual copy, which can later be used for advertisement or education, design and manufacture, engineering and 3D printing. It allows you to improve the quality of construction, renovation, restoration, and reconstruction.
AERO3D company offers 3D modeling for interiors, buildings and structures, industrial facilities, vehicles, product prototypes using specialized photogrammetry techniques. The photorealistic three-dimensional model is based on high-quality images taken at different angles. It is done at 1: 1 scale and reflects the actual object state. Our models have high-precision georeference and have a high degree of detail and texture.

To date, AERO3D has completed dozens of cultural legacy projects across Ukraine.

Using photogrammetry technology, several architectural projects for design and restoration were done, two of which are St. Andrew’s Church in Kyiv and Honka in the Mezhigorye National Park.

Ship scan. To assess the technical condition, the customer wanted us to scan a tugboat since repairs had to be made abroad, in Turkey. We’ve created tug’s 3D model, which was used to estimate the cost of repairs. After repairs were done, we created the final 3D model.

For construction and surveying work, AERO3D creates orthophoto plans with an accuracy of 2.5 centimeters per pixel. Such resolution is obtained with the help of UAVs which currently surpass results obtained by other methods, like satellite shooting, airplane and helicopter shooting, and working “manually”.

Laser scanning
Laser scanning of rooms, buildings, structures, and territories is a modern technology for measuring an object in horizontal and vertical directions with the subsequent formation of its 3D image in the point cloud contour.
The method is highly accurate and allows you to create both engineering drawings, plans, and diagrams, as well as digital three-dimensional models of any complexity that are compatible with all modern CAD-design systems. The spatial coordinates of the object points are determined based on the direction and traveling time of the laser beam.
Laser scanning is widely used in construction and architecture. Contactless scanners provide a high degree of detail. They do not require direct contact with an object. The information about the geometric structure is collected remotely, which allows you to take readings in hard-to-reach and dangerous places. Scanning is performed at any time of the day and is made fast, in 1 second the scanner makes hundreds of thousands of readings.

AERO3D offers a range of building-measurement services. Using highly accurate 3D point cloud information, we can produce a variety of products, including Building Information Models (BIM), typically supplied in Revit (AECOsim & ArchiCAD), 3D CAD models, 2D floor plans, sections, facades, point clouds, and panoramas.
